Faith Impact Project: The Journey Towards a Faith-Consistent Investment Portfolio – FIIND

This session aims to educate faith-based organizations (FBOs) on how to tackle climate change and poverty through faith-consistent investing. Aside from being charitable organizations, FBOs are also large asset owners and investing bodies (e.g., of capital, real estate, and land). As such, FBOs have immense power to help close the SDG funding gap and generate positive change. Unfortunately, these assets are often invested into businesses that are counter-productive to their mission and harm people and planet. This session will discuss how FBOs can realign their portfolio to their faith values, and which climate solutions effective and investable.
