Dr Carlos Zepeda is Assistant Director of Policy and Practice at the Catholic Jesuit and ecological inspired Laudato Si’ Research Institute (LSRI), Campion Hall, University of Oxford . He works as a catalyst transforming the Institute’s research on integral ecology into action with policy actors and civil society globally especially Indigenous and faith-based communities. His research explores the politics of sustainable development, integral ecology transformative research methodologies and their application across policies and practices in the global South. Carlos is Chair of the Faith for Earth Steering Committee at UNEP.

Dr Husna Ahmad OBE is the CEO of Global One 2015 which is a faith based International NGO focused on women. She has been appointed an Associate Professor at the Department of Arts and Law at the University of Birmingham. She is a key Adviser of the newly inaugurated Global Muslim Business Forum GMBF. She is a member of the Multi faith Advisory Council to the UN Inter-agency Task Force on Religion and Development. Dr Ahmad sits on the Steering Committee of The World Bank’s Moral Imperative Initiative. She also sits on the Steering Committee of the UN Environment Programme’s Faith for Earth initiative.

Dr. Fachruddin M. Mangunjaya is an environmentalist, author, Associate Professor at the School of Graduate Program Universitas Nasional, and the Chairman of the Centre for Islamic Studies Universitas Nasional. Dr. Mangunjaya is a drafting member for the Islamic Declaration for Global Climate Change in Istanbul (2015), a Scholar Member of Al-Mizan Convenance for The Earth, and a member of the Advisory Group for Forum on Religion and Ecology, University of Yale, Advisory for Indonesian Biodiversity Foundation (Yayasan Kehati).

FARWAH GHULAM ALI KHATAWFaith for Our Planet , Global Programme Coordinator
Farwah is the Global Program Coordinator for Faith For Our Planet, a faith-based climate action NGO. She has worked to develop training programs for religious leaders in five countries and also leads FFOP’s programming for SDG 5 (Gender Equality). She also works as a Senior Account Manager for Unitas Communications, facilitating intercultural dialogue and public opinion between Muslim-led and international organizations. Her work is inspired by her postgraduate thesis at the University of Edinburgh, which included communal conflict and identities, and political Islam in the MENASA – for which she has earned a Distinction. After graduating she spent several years lecturing on Islamic culture, Muslim societies and traditions, religious conflict, and sociology at the University of Wollongong in Dubai, as one of the university’s youngest lecturers.
